About Kim

Kim is originally from Southern California, the fourth of four children and raised in a dedicated Christian home. Her earliest childhood memories include a rich church heritage leading to her accepting Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of 7 during Vacation Bible School. She learned the value of serving others, but watching her father tirelessly serve the church as deacon, usher, sound booth technician, and anything else he was asked to do. Such an example taught her to put the needs of others above her own. Kim joined the workforce full-time right after high school doing administrative work and attended junior college at night. She met her husband Scott in their church high school group and they were married in 1984. In a huge step of faith, Kim decided to stay home full-time when her first son, Chris, was born in 1992. They had two more children, Ryan and Jenna. After 17 years as a full-time mom and her oldest preparing for college, Kim returned to the workforce and her roots of service through administrative support. She came to PCPC after several years of working with para-church ministries. With her love of children and the desire for them to know the love of Christ, being able to use her gifts to support Children’s Ministry has been a great opportunity only God could have orchestrated.
