Worship & Music

Sunday Services

Our services are planned to worship the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit through the Scriptural means of prayer, the reading and preaching of the Scriptures, singing, confessing the faith, receiving the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, and the giving of tithes and offerings. Children are always welcome in our worship services, and families are encouraged to worship together.

Sacraments

In accordance with the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms, the Presbyterian Church in America observes two sacraments: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. The Shorter Catechism defines a sacrament as “a holy ordinance instituted by Christ, wherein, by sensible signs, Christ, and the benefits of the new covenant, are represented, sealed, and applied to believers.”

Giving

Knowing that God is the source of all things and all we have, giving is one of our greatest acts of worship. Whether we are generous in our availability to others, in using our talents and abilities to serve the community, or in giving our financial resources, all are intended to extend the presence of His Kingdom in Dallas and the world.

Choirs

The PCPC choirs exist to train men and women, girls and boys how to be singing Christians. The preparation which takes place in rehearsal during the week is applied in both worship and concert settings, as well as other ministry opportunities. Participation is open to all singers, kindergarten through senior adults.

PCPC Concerts

PCPC’s concerts invite our church family and community to experience the beauty of Christ-centered music offered with excellence and joy. Through our annual Performing Arts Series, guest artists and PCPC choirs present events that proclaim the hope of the gospel and create space for reflection, celebration, and worship. All concerts are free and open to the public.
