Fall and Spring Bible Study: The Gospel of Matthew
Focus is a Wednesday evening Bible study consisting of small group discussion on questions about the passage being studied. There are women’s groups, men’s groups, and co-ed couples’ groups who, after discussion time, all come together in a large group setting for a wrap-up teaching time. Focus is a place to be discipled while forming relationships and strong community within our church. We would love to have you join us.

In a cultural moment when many claim to know who Jesus is, the most important question we can ask is this: What has Jesus himself revealed about who he is and what he has done? There is only one reliable way to answer that question and it is not by looking to popular books, cultural trends, or our own preferences. It is by returning to the biblical accounts of Jesus teaching, healing, confronting, discipling, and in the end suffering, dying and rising, that we see and know Christ. There is nothing more important than what we know to be true about Jesus. Everything about our lives, from our daily living, to our worship, to our hope in suffering, all depend upon knowing him rightly. This year we will behold Jesus Christ as only he reveals himself to be through the gospel of Matthew.
